The Foot Fetish Community
The Foot Fetish Community (sometimes referred to as the Ketchum Klan) is the name given to a breakaway collective of users within the Speakonia Community that was supposedly formed in 2011 by FiletOfSole1. Much like the Barney Bunch, they create videos of cartoon characters and mascots being sexual deviants who speak with text-to-speech voices, though they tend to differ in their approach to videos and canon. They were also responsible for the popular (albeit controversial) current depiction of Stu Pickles.
Features[edit]
While they may appear to have a lot in common with the Barney Bunch, the Foot Fetish Community does have some notable differences that make them stand out.
- The first and most obvious difference is that, like the name suggest, their content has a heavy emphasis on foot fetishism. When FiletOfSole1 started making videos, they were much in the manner of classic Barney Bunch videos, but the characters would seriously talk about their foot fetishism, with titles usually going along the lines of "[Character Name] Displays their Sexy Smooth Looking Bare Feet While [Action]" or "Meet [Character Name] And Their Feet". The phrase "sexy, smooth looking bare feet" is a common hallmark of these videos.
- While they often do make use of the Barney Bunch and Pubic Family, they also have their own distinct groups, most prominently the Ketchum Klan and the Repulsa Republic among many others, popularizing and fleshing out lesser known groups like the Nega Barney Bunch and Pansexual Pack, and may have had an influence in bringing the Betty Bunch to prominence. They also included international branches of the Barney Bunch, something that many of the original Barney Bunch creators do not count as canon and do not include these groups. The massive introduction of new groups by the Foot Fetish Community has lead to many newer members of the Speakonia Community to create their own unique groups, almost to an absurd amount, something that would be criticized by other older members.
- The community makes numerous references to Japanese culture and anime, as well as Australian cartoons and media. In the case of the former, many of the members of the community have a particular interest in anime, mainly from the 80s and early 2000s, with Sailor Moon or anything made by manga artist Rumiko Takahashi (best known for being the creator of Inyuahsha) being popular among them. In the case of the latter, this could be attributed to DJSwell69, an Australian native who frequently used said cartoons and cultural references in his videos.
- The biggest difference would have to be the high amount of effort put into their videos. They are of much higher quality than traditional Barney Bunch videos and tend to be more overarching and plot-driven (not unlike some of Sammyt3hSnake's videos). By contrast, many Barney Bunch videos revolve around "this character is gay and like to have sex with men" or stick to a traditional format (a la the Goes to and Blood-style videos). Videos also tend to be much longer, with some Secret Missing Episodes going in lengths of almost a half-hour long or be split into multiple parts! This also contributes to a lack of videos from the creators for weeks, even months or years, on end. This has led to users in the main Barney Bunch, such as Skewt, noting that the Ketchum Klan is almost like the progressive rock of the Barney Bunch with it's extravagant and high quality editing, where as the main Barney Bunch's techniques (Blood-style videos) are the punk rock of the Barney Bunch with their amateur approach to video making. This approach to more story-driven videos would prove highly influential for users in the 2020s like IronYoshi1212 Productions, who tends to create videos in a similar manner, as well as influencing videos like DrewPicklesTheDark's Great Speakonia War series.
- In addition to the aforementioned new Speakonia groups, the videos also have a large cast of characters. A really, really large cast. While many of the Barney Bunch creators tend to stick with a small, core cast of characters (Drew Pickles, Barney, Ronald McDonald, Dick the Clown, etc.), the Speakonia groups made by the Foot Fetish Community has had literally almost every 90s Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, obscure Australian or Canadian cartoon, and anime character under the sun appear in their videos at some point. This directly goes against Blood's doctrine that adding new characters wantonly can lead to them just becoming a bunch of faces copied onto a video that don't really matter in the end.
- Lastly, many of the content produced by the community comes form the same batch of users. While the Barney Bunch has hundreds of members come and go and become icons in their own right (just compare the number of creators from 2011 to today), the Foot Fetish Community remains rather consistent with its small group of members, many of which are still active today, albeit not as much as they were back in the early 2010s.

Trivia[edit]
- Barney Bunch member RoboticBloxxer began to refer to the Foot Fetish Community as the Ketchum Klan (the main Speakonia group that the community popularized), simply because, as he pointed out, not all foot fetishists online are part of the Speakonia Community.
