List of Outside References to the Speakonia Community

The Speakonia Community is an oddity among internet communities or even memes in that it is extremely obscure even by fringe internet subculture standards, and thus references to it outside of it's core audience are a very rare and unexpected occurrence. Below is a list of known references to the Barney Bunch and Speakonia Community by people not affiliated or otherwise within the community.

• AnimationRewind - Drew Pickles ends up appearing in "The Meme Movie Part 2" video where he helps Shadew, Over9000 Vegeta, and Nibbles the Enchilada break free after being trapped in a bubble in the previous part with his 300 mile long penis before offering them to fuck, though they all rejected it. He would later on sent to the real world by AnimationRewind himself along with the other memes and be let to roam around free.
• AngryGermanKid82 - On September 5, 2011, popular Angry German Kid community member AngryGermanKid82 uploaded Drew Pickles Goes to Speedway, being the only Drew Pickles video he ever made, stating he has seen several Speakonia videos prior to making his own. It is also one of the very few Speakonia videos not made by a member of the general Speakonia Community, though AngryGermanKid82 did use Speakonia voices in his videos.
• Angryjohn: In a commentary video on Richard Kuta, former commentary channel Angryjohn would read a comment (timecode 2:43) from Enraptured Big Daddy's (then known as FreakyFighterman) video of Drew Pickles reacting to Aknotholeresident.
• Anthony Fantano - Esteemed YouTube music critic Anthony Fantano of the channel theneedledrop is known to have commented on a Pube Muppet video.
• Billy Bob Tanley - YouTuber Billy Bob Tanley has reacted to 2 Barney Bunch videos, those being "Penis Clown Revises The Mcdonald's Menu", and "The Barney Bunch Go To Play Boy Mansion". These are some of the very few live reaction videos to Barney Bunch content. Years later, someone would end up requesting him to react to Drew Pickles goes to the Psych Ward (Final Version) on Rumble due to him not risking YouTube’s bots.
• Dumbass Dinosaurs - This animated text-to-speech series had Drew Pickles guest star in two of its episodes. This was also the series where Barry the Giraffe originated, who made cameos in a handful of Barney Bunch videos.
• EmpLemon - On 22 June 2016, former YouTube Pooper (now video essayist) EmpLemon tweeted a meme showing the ranks of Rugrats memes, with Cowboy Tommy at "Normal", Stu Pickles making chocolate pudding at 3 in the morning at "Dank" and Drew Pickles at "Denk", implying Lemon knows the Barney Bunch, which is further supported by the fact he has liked Drew Pickles Goes to Chuck E Cheese's by Tark Denver.
• ExposedFaggots.com - On August 18, 2019, the Assfuck song EXPOSED FAGGOTS was noticed by an admin of ExposedFaggots.com, praising the track and asking the creator to come forward.
• Games Repainted - One of the cutscenes in Super Mario Sunshine Repainted is a Secret Missing Episode based off of Chastley, a short-lived web cartoon created by Angelo, one of the founding members of Games Repainted.
• lasagnacat - In the video "Sex Survey Results", Sir Peter called the owners of the channel posing as the Pube Muppet to have it featured in the video, and it made it into the video at 1:01:29.
• Michael Bell - According to PoopyBarney on the Speakonia Community Discord server, Michael Bell, the voice actor who played Drew Pickles and Chaz Finster in the original Rugrats cartoon, is actually well aware of the Barney Bunch and their depiction of Drew, and that he is actually perfectly okay with it.
• MugiMikey - The YouTube video Robotnikclaus 4: Miracle on 69th Street, originally uploaded on January 23, 2015 (and reuploaded to Newgrounds on December 22, 2018), features a scene in which the busts of Drew Pickles, Barney and Ronald McDonald are seen on a parade float (shown at the top of this page, or for the video timecode 14:07). On a stream, Sir Peter asked MugiMikey about the reference, to which he revealed he used to watch HoodBoyTails, therefore explaining the reference.
• Raymundo 2112 - The Barney Bunch is briefly mentioned (timecode 13:07) alongside Speakonia after in Raymundo 2112's The Ultimate Gen Z Nostalgia Iceberg FINALE.
• Reddit - When the Joanna Lopez TV sign-off missing person mystery began garnering online attention on Reddit in mid-2021, some of those participating in attempts to find more information about the girl/woman discovered a page about her on the Miraheze Speakonia Community wiki that was created by SavageBoy69 after discovering one of the sign-off recordings on YouTube. The page called her "some bitch", and claimed that the Wiggles massacred her family in Drewland and that their whereabouts remained unknown outside of Drewland. The page also claimed that nobody cared about Lopez when her image aired on television. A blog dedicated to exploring cold cases linked to the article and even archived it on the Wayback Machine, with its author believing it was a noteworthy lead in the search. Users on Reddit called the page tasteless and degrading, and SavageBoy would later make several comments on Reddit and YouTube issuing a lengthy apology. As Reddit itself is a big website, there would be a handful of Barney Bunch fans on the site, even making posts or comments referencing the group and its videos. There were attempts to make a Barney Bunch subreddit, but they never lasted very long with users accounts getting falsely banned and other reasons.
• Rugrats (2021) - While this should mainly be treated as a coincidence, the Rugrats reboot on Paramount+ has depicted Betty DeVille as a lesbian, something that made headlines across the internet. Some have treated the decision as a possible reference to the Speakonia Community, which has always depicted Betty as a lesbian in videos well over a decade prior.
• Sherry Page - For the longest time, the origins of Dick the Clown remained a mystery to the Speakonia Community, with the only hint to his existence being something called Sherry Page's Circus. As it turns out, as revealed by RoboticBloxxer when questioning Newgrounds legend GheyCarlWinslow on the Star Syndicate Discord server, Sherry Page was the name of the artist who painted the iconic picture the community has come to know as Dick the Clown. When the Dick image began to grow in popularity within the then young community, Page removed her entire online presence, leaving no trace outside the Dick image. This would explain why it was so difficult to determine Dick's origin for over 15 years. This also may be one of the very few times someone may have left the Internet due to the Barney Bunch.
• SiivaGunner - The SiivaGunner rip Main Theme - Bananas de Pijamas (Pirate) contains a reference to the Pube Muppet, though not the actual Pube Muppet himself, but as another character who takes on a Pubic form. The style of the video was also based off of noted community member GreenyPhantom.
• TeeHeeHUB - In July 2019, during the peak of the Second Barney Bunch Renaissance, VidLii was dominated by Barney Bunch videos. One channel in particular made a reaction video to Skewt's Wiggles video titled "THE WIGGLES RECTAL RAMPAGE UNHINGED FAGGOT ANAL RAPE" as part of their WRONG SIDE OF VIDLII series and added childish booing noises over them in a failed attempt to ridicule them. In the comment section of that particular video, one of the users that ran the channel attempted to criticize the videos but was ultimately bombarded by the community itself. Funnily enough, this wound up being the final episode of THE WRONG SIDE OF VIDLII.
• TVTropes.org - The website TV Tropes has entire pages dedicated to the Barney Bunch, the Pube Muppet, and Secret Missing Episodes, explaining various gags and trivia. A few members of the community have edited the pages too, including SavageBoy, IronYoshi, and RoboticBloxxer.
• Villains Wiki - Both Drew Pickles and the Pube Muppet had detailed articles about themselves on the Villains Wiki, explaining their motives and actions in videos, with Drew's page in particular having a detailed breakdown of the Goes To style. The pages would later be moved to the Villians Fanon Wiki before they were removed entirely, possibly due to their overtly sexual nature, and would later become lost media. In 2015, DrewPicklesTheDark would upload a video of Drew reading his own article on the Villains Wiki, being the only piece of evidence to that article's existence.
• WalterFootball.com - In 2010, Blood and Life Or Death spammed WalterFootball.com with gay homosexual statements posing as Nolan (though apparently one of the accounts used the name Michael Emerson), which got them onto the May 3, 2010 Jerk of The Week list.
• WeVidi - 2022 would be the year that the Barney Bunch and Speakonia Community attempted to station themselves on other sites. While looking for more alternatives, RoboticBloxxer would discover a site known as WeVidi, and he, IronYoshi, and Dr. Drew Pickles would set up there on August 24. Less than an hour after joining, both Dr. Drew Pickles and RoboticBloxxer would get banned, and IronYoshi would deactivate his account, marking the quickest time the Barney Bunch was driven off a site. A day later, the WeVidi Discord server announced that they would switch back to creator applications and Patreon donations in order to upload, citing the Barney Bunch videos as the reason why.
• Wikipedia - The Wikipedia page on Anti-Barney humor use to have a brief section taking about the Barney Bunch, though it seems to have been deleted several times.
• Your Favorite Canadian YouTuber, Eh! - This YouTuber has had Drew Pickles appear in some of his videos, notably in two episodes of his VS. series, where Drew went up against the likes of Dolan Duck and Moon Man, as well as making scattered appearances in his VS videos with what YFCYE tends to call a "Drew Pickles Disclaimer". Since then, Drew hasn't made many appearances in YFCYE's videos.
• ZetaPrime77 and TheBucketCat (Tracle Users) - The Barney Bunch's move to Tracle was met with mixed responses from users on the site, with the most vocal coming from these two members of the Tracle channel Marble Studios Network. Zeta, in his video titled "ZETA TALKS: THE STATE OF TRACLE", which discusses his concerns with the Tracle community, two videos by the Barney Bunch were displayed, as he believes the abundance of Barney Bunch videos may deter people away from the site. TheBucketCat would soon follow with a similar video titled "I fear for Tracles future". He rants about the Barney Bunch dominating the website, in particular he talks about RoboticBloxxer and Dr. Drew Pickles. The Speakonia Community would scoff at both videos and brush it off as little more than overreacting. Following the upload of Drew Pickles goes to Tracle, TheBucketCat would upload "The Punchline" in response said video, with Zeta following soon after with his own response video. After the heated drama died down, TheBucketCat would release an apology video to the community.
