Blood (1992-2021) was a member of the Barney Bunch and Speakonia Community. Active in several stints between 2007 and 2021, he was among one of the most influential and celebrated members in the community's history. Blood helped popularize a style of video that came to define the Barney Bunch during the mid to late 2010s, and founded the fictional gaycore band Assfuck, where Blood took on the persona of Nathan Danielson.

Emerging in 2007, Blood's zenith began in earnest during the early 2010s when his videos began to spawn a group of loyal fans and imitators. His style, which he claimed was influenced by the original Newgrounds generation, gained significant popularity in the community, influencing later creators such as Skewt as well as other established users such as BarneyBunchCompany. It culminated in the Barney Bunch Renaissance in 2016, of which Blood served as a de facto leader.

Following the end of the Renaissance, Blood retired from the community, although he continued to pursue Assfuck underground. He made a much celebrated return during the Second Barney Bunch Renaissance, where he trolled VidLii's Discord server and successfully convinced them he was actually his Assfuck character. His final retirement was in July 2020, though he continued to make occasional content up until July 2021. Blood died in August 2021, with the news not reaching the Barney Bunch community until a year later.

History

Beginnings (2007-2010)

Blood claimed to have joined the community during its early years on YouTube in 2007, when he was only 15 years old. There were three known accounts he used at this time, which were BloodTheSecond2011, TheReturnOfBlood and bloodthealt. Due to the frequency at which his accounts were banned and the fact that this was over a decade ago at this point, only a few of his pre-2013 videos survived, including a couple of TheReturnOfBlood videos, and an entry for a MrBadBarney collab that disappeared with that channel in 2015.

Blood says he was inspired by the original Barney Bunch, specifically users such as TheSecondL, StrawberryBarney, and JakeLL (Ghey Carl Winslow), collaborating with users such as the aforementioned MrBadBarney, Latinoballa23, MStilts, Sammyt3hSnake, and ShiftyTheAlmighty, but most of all, he made videos with Life Or Death (then known as LifeOrDeath69 according to his testimony), his self proclaimed partner in crime, with them creating several videos together, forming the fictional gaycore band Assfuck and creating the characters of Nathan and Johnny. Perhaps their most bizarre collaboration was with Sammyt3hSnake, who did a multi-part episode where Blood and Life Or Death run against Sammy with their Patriot Party to become the new rulers of Sammy t3h Snake Land, and end up winning the election.

First retirement and return (2011-2013)

Blood entered his (possibly) first retirement when Life Or Death suddenly disappeared one day, as it was no longer fun to him to make videos alone. Blood got back into video making when he was in his junior year of college (possibly referring to 2012/2013). He stated that he did not have many friends, and he wanted to try and make classic style Barney Bunch videos, but these videos were different, Blood had, in attempting to create classic style Barney Bunch videos, created his own distinct style of videos, which today are known as Blood-style videos.

Blood probably began this era of his career around 2012 (comments from a previous account he may have had around this time could be found on Prime8NStuff's now deleted Drew Pickles Goes To A Pantera Concert video as late as 2015), but the earliest account of his you can find today dates from April of 2013, BloodReturnsAgain, by far his most legendary and cherished account, containing such classic videos as THE WIGGLES GAY PORN 1, THE WIGGLES GAY PORN 2, RONALD MCDONALD RIDES ON HIS BICYCLE, JERRY SANDUSKY FUCKS A BOY IN THE SHOWER, WHO IS THE KING OF BEING REALLY REALLY GAY, THE LA BEAST EATS DOG SHIT, STU PICKLES FUCKS MEN IN KMART, and many, many more.

Notably, all videos on this account up to around April 11, 2013, just one day after the creation of the channel, were reuploads from a previous account, all bearing the description of "YOUTUBE CANNOT STOP ME. I WILL REUPLOAD EVERY VIDEO THAT THEY TOOK DOWN WHEN THEY DELETED MY LAST ACCOUNT. LONG LIVE DREW PICKLES AND THE BARNEY BUNCH!" Blood would soon abandon the BloodReturnsAgain account on 7 September 2013 when he uploaded A New Chapter Begins..., in which he explained that the channel was being abandoned so as to protect the videos on it due to a recent wave of flaggings on his videos.

Blood's BB Videos, Blood's Shitty Videos, second retirement and return (2014-2015)

Blood's next account was Blood BB Videos, created February 22, 2014, which, to this day, remains Blood's most subscribed account standing at 513 subscribers. It contained classics such as THE WIGGLES STINKY ANAL SEX WITH MEN, BARNEY'S GAY SURPRISE, BARNEY BUNCH DUMPSTER BUTTSEX ORGY, DREW PICKLES FAGGOT BUTTSEX IN THE DUMPSTER, BARNEY: BEING GAY IN A STRAIGHT WORLD, THE WIGGLES FECAL MATTER SCAT SLAVES, etc. This account was abandoned 21 June 2014 when it received a second strike for a video posing as a legit porno but was actually THE WIGGLES WOULD INTERRUPT AND HAVE GAY BUTTSEX (or some other character but you get the idea).

Blood probably followed up with the Blood's Shitty Videos account, but information on this account is no longer available as it was seemingly terminated under everyone's noses sometime recently, leaving it the only one of Blood's abandoned accounts to be terminated, which is a shame because it contained some absolute classics on it. Blood did have one more now-gone account where he posted a few videos with Drew Pickles and his 300 mile long cock standing in various places such as the jungle or a construction site and having a song relevant to the location they were at playing, which were later copied by RugratsTheLostTapes.

It was at this time in 2014 that Blood's first two imitators, Howard Deville (no relation to the Rugrats character, now suspended) and Dennis Bogiatzis (videos now removed and back to the status of random no-name YouTube channel nobody cares about), appeared, with their videos going on to influence the likes of Skewt, who began creating his own Blood style videos in late 2014. The first of these, a Stu Pickles video, went a bit too far with it's content and it received him his first channel strike in his career, which lead to the creation of his backup channel, where he made several more Blood style videos in early 2015, praising Blood's legacy and how he will never be forgotten.

Against all odds, Blood took notice of this newfound appreciation for his videos and made his triumphant return to a now rejuvenated Speakonia Community on the BarneyBunch Blood account on 26 February 2015 (the channel itself having been created in 2014 but not uploading until 2015). Blood stated that at this point in his life, he had just gotten out of college and he was staying with his mother in Florida, but they got into a fight which caused Blood to be evicted from the household, so he spent several nights living in his car. It got to the point where he actually considered suicide many times, but after seeing the reappraisal of his videos by the new generation of BB video makers, it inspired him to make his return.

For a while, Blood continued doing him, making repetitive spam videos for several months until May 8, 2015, when he uploaded I Cannot Do This Anymore., in which he detailed his career in the community and the circumstances to which he was brought to that very moment. He stated that he had settled down in a new town and met a new friend who happened to be a male to female transgender, and, not wanting to risk the possibility of soiling his new friendships after a long spell of unhappiness, decided it was time to retire once again.

However, he did not wan to leave on a low note, so he hereby declared the weekend of May 8-10 to be "Blood Weekend", in which he uploaded 24 spam videos and a goodbye video in order to go out on a bang. He would later briefly reuse the account in 2016 to reupload two videos from a previous account because he had two strikes on said account at the time and didn't want to wait for them to expire. After this, Blood stayed pretty quiet for the rest of the year, quietly retiring to a retirement account and commenting on other users' videos. In 2016 however, things changed forever.

First Renaissance and subsequent retirement (2016-2018)

Life Or Death, his good man and partner in crime, returned that year. This caused Blood to return as well (he never stated it outright, but it's possible he broke off relations with his gay friends at some point as he stated in "I Cannot Do This Anymore" that if he ever decided to come back, it meant that he was unhappy with his life and he would need something to help him cope with his situation), however the accounts he did use during the height of the Renaissance are lost at this point. At one point, Blood had an incredibly ambitious plan to upload 100 BB spam videos in one day, creating a new account for this very purpose, however, the channel was terminated before he could complete this goal.

Blood's oldest surviving Renaissance era account is Blood's Gay Movies (date of creation unknown due to how YouTube displays the channel making it do that stupid thing where the usual about section is unavailable) but his most used Renaissance era account is likely Blood Strikes Back, created possibly around late September/early October when the Renaissance began waning and the downward spiral was setting in.

It was on this account that Blood created the Barney Bunch Weekly Contest which was intended to encourage creativity in the community by having one user host the contest, have other users submit entries, and whoever made the best entry would host the next week. His 17-minute long announcement video is notable in that it is one of the only times he has ever used his real voice, not counting his portrayal of Nathan in Assfuck. Also during this time was the BLOOD GAY PORN channel, which despite being relatively short lived and only having five videos on it managed to rack up 108 subscribers before being abandoned. The Blood Strikes Back account was mainly used for BB contest related videos with several actual BB videos thrown in.

In mid-December 2016, SavageBoy69 suggested that Barney Bunch videos become monetized in order to save it from the downward spiral. This did not end well, with his suggestion being met with absolute scorn. This contributed to Blood's increasing disillusionment with the community. He made two videos addressing the situation, a spam video with the simple message THE BARNEY BUNCH IS NOT ABOUT MAKING YOUTUBE MONEY and another, WHY THE BARNEY BUNCH IS NOT A BUSINESS, elaborating on why it was a terrible idea. Users like Alfardo also brought up that it would be impossible to profit from Barney Bunch videos as they use other companies' intellectual property (cartoon and preschool show characters, mascots, etc.). Eventually Savage apologized but the damage (at least within that period) was done. It was Blood and Mister Incognito that suggested Savage split off his BB content to one channel so he could use the SavageBoy69Alt channel for other purposes. Eventually, the channel was abandoned on December 21, 2016 when Blood uploaded BLOOD IS ON HIATUS, after which he retired to another retirement account known as BLOOD IS RETIRED.

Going into 2017, Blood somewhat kept around, working on projects such as Assfuck, but eventually the comments from him stopped rolling in and the Blood Is Retired account also seems to be abandoned too. In 2018, a BB channel called "Blood Fucking" with no profile picture appeared, with several videos that reasonably resembled Blood-style videos. This was later confirmed to not be the real Blood. Reasons against it being him include that not all of the video titles are in ALL CAPS and how one video is titled in a way Blood would likely not title a video ("Barney's faggot porn job", exactly that), and the fact that all but one of the videos are about Barney, with only one Drew Pickles video is featured on the channel, and no videos about Arthur Read or especially the Wiggles, who Blood has gone on record as saying are his favorite characters to make videos with, and that all but the one Drew Pickles video are under a minute long, meaning they are not looped to stretch the video length, and most importantly, Speakonia voices are not used for the characters voices.

Second Renaissance, 2020 retirement, Death and Legacy (2019-2021)

Skewt and SavageBoy's return to video making in mid-2019 caused them to begin searching for Blood's whereabouts. The search quickly turned out to be successful, as on June 22, 2019, Blood returned to the Speakonia Community on VidLii with a run of videos on both VidLii and YouTube. Upon his return, he cited the revitalizing community as influencing him to return. He added that while he wouldn't consider himself "unretired" due to other matters in his life, he would have the time to make videos here and there. Blood revealed several previously unknown facts following his return, including what led to Life Or Death's final disappearance in December 2016.

He continued a massive run of videos on VidLii throughout the summer of 2019, but after trolling a user named 'Epicman89', he was eventually banned. He continued to be active, but announced he would take a hiatus on December 14, 2019, however this time not due to any drama or fighting, but in order to deal with real life matters. He continued to pop in periodically before releasing a massive update video on March 27th in which he revealed he'd purchased his first house and he could finally do anything he wanted on his own.

However, this return was short-lived. As activity in the community began to falter once again by late July 2020, Blood left the Discord server and announced once again that he would retire, declaring that while some of it had to do with the state of the community (specifically being fractioned), but that it's simply not in his best interest, and despite not guaranteeing that the retirement would be permanent, citing the times he retired and later returned, he hoped to just move on from everything. In the video, he also clarified that he wasn't disowning the community, and that users could reach out to him via email (his address of which he mentions in the video).

Despite his retirement, Blood would made occasional uploads throughout 2021, starting with THE WIGGLES FUCK DREW PICKLES in February. During this time, he would upload titled "i am going to kill myself", and while it was just a normal video featuring the Wiggles, the title alone caused concern within the community. It wouldn't be until Sir Peter conformed that Blood was safe after texting him. Blood's final video to date, a Ned Flanders one, was uploaded in July.

Blood died in August 2021. His death remained unknown to the community until a year later, in August 2022, when an obituary for him was found online. The community mourned his loss, with a few members making videos to honor him. Despite his death, Blood's legacy will continue to live on. Very few members of the community have managed to be as massively influential as he was, even inventing an entirely new style of video that, while not as prevalent as it was in the mid to late 2010s, continues to be used to this day.

• BloodReturnsAgain (April 10, 2013 - September 7, 2013, June 22-November 13, 2019, March 27 - April 5, 2020): possibly Blood's most iconic and legendary account. Videos include THE WIGGLES GAY PORN 1, THE WIGGLES GAY PORN 2, STU PICKLES FULL ON RAPIST FAGGOT YAOI, STU PICKLES FOOT FETISH FAGGOT XXX GAY HOMOSEXUAL PORN, DREW PICKLES BATHES IN THE SEWERS BECAUSE HE IS GAY, THE WIGGLES BACK DOOR BANDITS XXX HOT GAY PORN, and many many many more. Abandoned on 7 September after a wave of flaggings, but revived in 2019 to post a video verifying that the BarneyBunchBlood VidLii account is his and to post a run of videos because VidLii only has an 8 videos per day limit. Blood upon his return used it to post new content on YouTube, but would switch to a newly created channel in November 2019. Blood expressed a desire to preserve this account, and thus may not post on it as of April 2020.

It was terminated on August 4, 2022.

Abandoned on 17 September after the video TAYO THE LITTLE BUS RAUNCHY POOP SEX ORGY EXPLICIT UNCENSORED PORN. This account was terminated some time in 2021, but as of July 2022, has reappeared.

Abandoned on or about 1 October 2016, though exactly why is unknown.
• Blood Strikes Back (October 14, 2016 - December 21, 2016): Blood's final account during 2016 where he actively posted BB videos, though most videos on this account were related to the BB weekly contest, as this is the account that he created the contest on. Made videos including ARTHUR SPECIAL VIDEO - OCTOBER 13, 2016, CHARLES FINSTER IS GAY BUT HE ACTS IN A MANNER THAT IS APPROPRIATE FOR YOUTUBE, BLOOD'S ONE MAN POOPY COLLAB, THE WIGGLES ENTER A CHESS TOURNAMENT, THE WIGGLES VOLUNTEER AT THE SOUP KITCHEN AND FEED THE HOMELESS, GAY ONE MAN ANIMAL COLLAB, DREW PICKLES HAS GAY SEX IN KMART, and several others. Also included some drama videos including THE BARNEY BUNCH IS NOT ABOUT MAKING MONEY and WHY THE BARNEY BUNCH IS NOT A BUSINESS, made after SavageBoy69's infamous comments about how BB videos should be monetized. The account was abandoned 21 December. It was terminated sometime in 2020 or 2021.
• Blood Is Retired (December 21, 2016 - present): Blood's then newest retirement account that he created immediately after abandoning Blood Strikes Back. Only uploaded three videos, THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE ON THIS CHANNEL, YOU LOSE, and Lemon Pie Land by Assfuck. Likely abandoned by this point.
• BarneyBunchBlood (June 22, 2019 - August 15, 2019): Blood's VidLii account in which he made a return on, eventually banned on August 15, 2019. This account would later appear to be unbanned in late 2022.
• BarneyBunchBlood2 (June 23, 2019 - August 15, 2019): A second account he made on VidLii to circumvent their 8 uploads a day limit. Also banned on August 15, 2019.
• Blood Blood (November 13, 2019 - December 8, 2019): Blood's then-newest YouTube account, not created because of any termination, but presumably as a clean slate. He uploaded the entirety of his VidLii era videos as a kickstart, and said the channel would be for newer content in the future. Terminated on December 7 or 8, 2019.
• blood poopy pants (February 1, 2020 - April 2020): Blood's final YouTube account that got terminated days after his UPDATE VIDEO.
• BLOOD (April 9, 2020 - July 2022, terminated): Blood's current and last YouTube account before his 2020 retirement. He would upload several videos after his retirement in 2021, with the last one being uploaded on July 18 of that year. The channel would ultimately be terminated in July 2022.
• FaggotBoyBlood (May 3, 2020 - July 23, 2020): Blood's final overall Barney Bunch account. Was banned, but would resurface again alongside the BarneyBunchBlood account in late 2022.
