Drake is the main antagonist of Don Bluth's 8th animated feature film The Pebble and the Penguin. He was introduced in the Speakonia Community by Michael of Random in 2022, in which he was then rewritten and portrayed as an overly gay and unhinged emperor penguin whose methods of swellness accordingly equals or rivals that of the Wiggles, and a member of his own Speakonia group called The Drew Crew (Michael of Random's re-imagining and own version of the Barney Bunch) while being part of the main Barney Bunch in other videos.
History
Michael of Random first came up with the idea of turning Drake into a swell homosexual akin to most characters in the Speakonia Community purely out of the thought that the he himself found it funny, especially with Drake's goal on wanting to marry Marina and prevent Hubie (the film's main protagonist) from getting to her. Michael even joked that perhaps The Pebble and the Penguin would've been a success if they had made Drake gay and had a crush on Hubie instead. Despite not having seen the original film but did see some small clips of it on YouTube, Michael agreed on that he found Drake possibly the only good thing to ever come out from it, mainly because of Tim Curry's performance and the song "Don't Make me Laugh".
Drake made his first official appearance in a Blood-style video titled DRAKE IS A BIG BURLY AND MUSCULAR EMPEROR PENGUIN by Michael of Random after he was inspired by IronYoshi1212's BIBLEMAN IS A GOOD CHRISTIAN MAN WHO TEACHES WHOLESOME CHRISTIAN VALUES and Sonulianc.Exe's EXETIOR IS A WEEABOO WITH A LOT OF RESPECT FOR JAPAN videos where Drake introduces himself as an overly gay emperor penguin who quote "loves to shove fish up his ass as dildus and use the snow as lube and fuck the other male penguins in their feathery asses, especially that faggot Hubie and his butt buddy Rocko" and that he also has a crush on Hubie and desperately wants to make him his gay boyfriend and have all the gay penguin orgies they want. He then pays a visit to Tank Evans, the main antagonist of the Sony Pictures Animation film Surf's Up, on Pengu Island and then has a gay orgy with him after hearing that he too was also a big and muscular penguin and was probably a massive homosexual like him.
The character has received positive feedback from some members of the community as of late and would even make appearances in other Speakonia videos not made by Michael of Random, being utilized by other users like StraightFusion and Postal Pickles. In his appearances, he is voiced by Microsoft Sam on the deepest pitch
Description and Personality
Drake is a muscular emperor penguin and is one of the best looking out of all the penguins, which he is completely aware of and thinks this gives him an excuse to do whatever he wants. His goal is that he wants Marina (the film's love interest) to be his wife, but only because she is the most beautiful female penguin in the rookery, unlike Hubie who genuinely loves her. Knowing that Marina was already interested in Hubie, who was planning to present her with a courtship pebble, he decided to get rid of Hubie once and for all.
In Michael of Random's videos (as well as Speakonia videos as a whole) however, Drake is instead an unhinged homosexual penguin who has a massive crush on Hubie and desires to make him his one and only so that they can have all the gay penguin orgies they can, and Rocko can also join in too. His unhinged personality supposedly equals or even rivals that of the Wiggles as mentioned by Tony Little, who is even hesitant of the thought of Michael of Random summoning him to deal with Disney Kaa.
Throughout most of his appearances, he retains is incredibly gay and unhinged personality from the Blood-style video he originated from.
Trivia
- Despite the negative reviews The Pebble and the Penguin received, Drake is seen as one of the few saving graces due to Tim Curry's voice acting. Coincidentally, Tim Curry also voiced Nigel Thornberry, another popular character used by the Speakonia Community.
- The length and size of Drake's penis in Michael of Random's videos, which is 1,141,995 miles long, is also a reference to The Pebble and the Penguin's original release date of April 11th, 1995 (11/4/1995).
