The '''Betty Bunch''' are a group of lesbians lead by [[Betty DeVille]] and are basically the female contemporaries of the [[The Barney Bunch (fictional)|Barney Bunch]]. They operate in Bettysburg (originally Bettyland, their own continent), a small town at the tip of [[Drewland]], where they try to make everything femininely swell and get into skirmishes with the Barney Bunch. Of all the groups introduced to the [[The Speakonia Community|Speakonia Community]] bar the Barney Bunch, they have managed to last longer than others, and are treated as the primary rivals for the Barney Bunch, along with the [[The Pubic Family|Pubic Family]]. Despite their intense rivalry, many within the community have recently made both the Barney Bunch and Betty Bunch allies (sometimes reluctantly, given the circumstances), though most of the time they seem to just begrudgingly tolerate each other.

== History ==
The Betty Bunch first began as a throwaway line said by Betty DeVille in a [[bigboyrats]] video in 2009. The video in question, Drew Pickles's Turkey of Horror, was a [[Speakonia Dubs|dub]][[[[[ of the ''Rugrats'' episode "The Turkey Who Came to Dinner". When the turkey was going to be delivered in the evening, the adults had to come up with a plan, and Betty said this line:

''"Ladies, we got ourselves an emergency. If the Betty Bunch doesn't do anything soon, we're doomed!"''

While it was little more than a throwaway line, it would plant the seeds for what was to come in the next year or two. Around the early to mid 2010s, the [[The Foot Fetish Community|Foot Fetish Community]], and in particular [[DJSwell69]], began to utilize Betty in more videos, making her a contemporary to [[Drew Pickles]]. Soon enough, the Betty Bunch concept began to blow up within the Foot Fetish Community and began to feature more in videos as a new rival group to the Barney Bunch.

Reactions to the [[The Barney Bunch|Barney Bunch]] side of the community towards the Betty Bunch were generally mixed. Many felt that they were little more than just a knockoff of the Barney Bunch while others welcomed the addition. By the [[Barney Bunch Renaissance|Renaissance]] era, the Betty Bunch were not being utilized as much, leading to [[Skewt]] and [[SavageBoy69|SavageBoy]] coming up with the idea that, in their take on the Barney Bunch lore, the Betty Bunch were completely wiped out in a massive battle against the Barney Bunch, and that their home of Bettyland was destroyed. This was eventually discarded as many users started to embrace the Betty Bunch again towards the end of the decade and well into the 2020s, with members of the Foot Fetish Community continuing to use them, as well as main community members like StraightFusion, for his Nega Barney Bunch Arc Finale, and [[DrewPicklesTheDark]], who has the Betty Bunch play a key role in the [[The Great Speakonia War|Great Speakonia War]] series, where both the Barney and Betty Bunches have to reluctantly work together to stop [[Swellmix]].

Betty DeVille is the world's biggest lesbian and the leader of the group. Often comparable to Drew Pickles in her actions, she leads the Betty Bunch with the intent of expanding Drewland's female population beyond the Betty Bunch's home territory of Bettysburg and going to various places to unleash her own batch of swellness.

Charlotte is Drew's wife in the ''Rugrats'' cartoon, but in the Speakonia canon she and Drew completely split after the end of Rugrats, where she became the second-in-command of the Betty Bunch. Originally, as explained in a video by DW4Ever 9-17, she was meant to be Drew's female equivalent before that role went to Betty. She would develop a rivalry with Cindy Bear (as a nod to Drew's rivalry with [[Yogi Bear]]), and the two got into a sex-fight that ended with Charlotte dead and sent to Hell. The Betty Bunch sought to get back at Cindy and set up an ambush. They then tried to resurrect Charlotte, but the device that was to be used was snatched and she ended up in the [[The Repulsa Republic|Repulsa Republic]] for a time. But eventually she was able to break away from the Republic and rejoin the Betty Bunch

She is a female clown with an doll usually filling the Betty Bunch's equivalent to [[Ronald McDonald]]. In some older videos she is depicted as the Lesbian sister of [[Ronald McDonald]] and [[Dick the Clown]].

The wife of [[Stu Pickles]] and the second in command of the Betty Bunch during Charlotte's absence. She appeared in several earlier Betty Bunch videos, but later ones tend to leave her out, suggesting she may have some loyalty to Stu. Depending on the video maker, some have Didi exclusively as a Betty Bunch member, while others have her in the Ketchum Klan with Stu and his additional lover Delia Ketchum.

The brains of Mystery Inc. is also the genius of the group and helps them out in various situations, with varying degrees of swellness. However she left the Betty Bunch when the Nega Barney Bunch invaded Bettyland (before its name was changed to Bettysberg) and was almost turned straight until the Pansexual Pack saved her. However, due to the Nega Barney Bunch's influence, it messed up her swellness level to the point where she can’t be a lesbian again, so she became Pansexual as a result and joined the Pansexual Pack. Velma is canonically a lesbian (or bisexual, at least through some of her interactions with other males in some series), but there's some uncertainty as to whether she'd be considered a part of the Pansexual Pack, although the Foot Fetish Community, mainly DW4Ever 9-17, did like the idea according to one of his videos, seeing the lesbians a big stereotype to her.

The guardian of justice and love who was originally a hardcore lesbian in some early appearances portrayed as a Betty Bunch. This was retconned later on as her being bisexual by the Foot Fetish Community and pansexual by StraightFusion, being part of either the Akane Alpha (a bisexual division of the Betty Bunch) or the Pansexual Pack, due to his disdain of Sailor Moon being portrayed as a lesbian unlike Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune (who are canonically lesbians in the same series) could been a better fit in the Betty Bunch as he is unaware of them already being in groups at the time. She would be replaced by Tracer from ''Overwatch''.

Their part in the Barney Bunch lore is infamously inconsistent, as some community members would make them into Betty Bunch members, or simply lesbians at the very least. Other community members would not want them to be part of the Betty Bunch, so they turn them into gay (trans) males so they can be part of the Barney Bunch alongside Tinky Winky and Dipsy.
