SovietBarney is a Barney Bunch member who first started on Newgrounds before migrating to YouTube. He is well known for creating Barney Bunch flashes and videos in the less traditional sense, as his works are fully animated. After posting some content on Newgrounds, he and several other members would jump ship to YouTube, where he posted some of his animations there. Today he is long since inactive.

SovietBarney possibly got his start sometime after the original Barney Bunch formed on Newgrounds on May 6, 2006 under the username MrSovietBarney. Most of his work consists of collab entries that were hosted by various users. It is unknown if he made any work outside of these on Newgrounds, though if they were deleted when the Barney Bunch was driven off Newgrounds, then they may just be lost media.
After the Bunch was exiled from Newgrounds, they settled onto YouTube, where SovietBarney soon followed. From 2007 until 2009, he uploaded 5 animated shorts to YouTube, all of which relied on a rather simple but hilarious formula where Drew Pickles shoves a massive dialdoh object up Chaz Finster's ass, causing him to utter his iconic scream (which was just Tom's scream from Tom and Jerry). After the upload of Drew Pickles Elevator Action, he appeared to have gone on hiatus.
In 2011, he would return to uploading videos with the 4 part Nigel's Wild Beasts, which had Nigel Thornberry feasting on the fecal matter of all the various animals he comes across, and Oshawatt Tells A Story, which was more in line with a traditional Barney Bunch video. Finally, on December 24, 2012, SovietBarney uploaded Drew Pickles Holiday Special!, which would be his final upload before disappearing completely.
