== History ==
Sammy t3h Snake first began life as a character from a segment of a 1971 episode of ''Sesame Street'', where he sang about the letter S. It wouldn't be until about 2006 that he gained new life in a series of videos where he tells stories and gets into wacky shenanigans. Sammy went from being a rather obscure Muppet to being a driving force in the pioneering days of the [[The Speakonia Community|Speakonia Community]]. However, this would not last long, as Sammyt3hSnake's channel was soon suspended in 2009, marking an end to the character's reign. With the creator's channel no more (a second channel that archived some of the videos was made), Sammy quickly fell back into obscurity, with his only major appearances outside his series being a handful of Inspector Duck videos, some Swell Wonder videos by [[El Cash Jikuya]], and two videos by swellronald where he is with Winnie the Pooh. He would also appear in two of [[IronYoshi1212 Productions|IronYoshi1212]]'s videos (Drew Pickles Jr. Starts a Lemonade Stand and Pube Muppet's Christmas Cockblock to be specific), possibly in reference to 2021 being the 15th anniversary of the original Sammyt3hSnake channel.

His voice was provided by Microsoft Sam, with the Narrator one being used in older videos before switching to the default Speakonia one in later videos. In Sammy t3h Snake SCREAMS, he had a normal human voice which might actually be the channel owner himself, and in the 5th part of Sammy Gets Censored, he was voiced by Adult Male #5.

== Description and Personality ==
Sammy t3h Snake is a purple and green snake who believes himself to be the 1337est creature on the planet. He lives in Sammy t3h Snake Land with his wife Snakette and his son Baby, where he goes on weird adventures with his best friend Embit. Sammy has the ability to haxture into the computers of those he deems as "un1337 n00bz" and can shoot 1337 1337 Lazer Beams out of either his eyes or mouth. He is also very fond of the letter S and thinks its the most 1337 letter in the alphabet. He also has faced off against villains like Freak Monkey and Pox the Chicken, and has routinely saved Sammy t3h Snake Land on numerous occasions. Sammy also has a complicated history with [[Drew Pickles |Drew Pickles]] and [[Barney]], as they were schoolmates in their youth, and Drew often wants to have a swell time whenever he visits Sammy t3h Snake Land, wit Sammy seeming to tolerate him.
