The United Film & Media Group, or UFMG, is the name of a group and community owned by Duncan Burden/Puppiez0 and operated by a collective of users, some of which were formerly members of Thirteeniverse, who began making Barney Bunch videos around 2021, alongside other miscellaneous videos. They are commonly associated with people in the closing logo and physical media communities respectively, and they began to become active in the Speakonia community following when Maestro Keegan decided to continue The Drew Pickles Show, originally a Thirteeniverse project produced by the late Gary21115/*WaRnEr*. Various members of the UFMG are also on the Speakonia server, including Duncan and Keegan themselves.
History
The United Film & Media Group first started out in late-2014 as a Google+ group owned by Lamont Meeks (best known as "SLN! Media Group"). It went through various different names and incarnations on Google+, MeWe and Discord in more recent times. Back then, it was known as the "Powerhouse of Entertainment", or POE for short. After Lamont was ousted for pedophilia and other horrible crimes, he was later exiled from the community, and Duncan took over as the owner. He started the current incarnation (UFMG) in early-2021. For quite some time, it was consolidated onto Neon Krome's Discord server (then known as the "Hellhole") until August 2022 when a drama outbreak caused said server to close down, leading the UFMG to split off from said server and once again become its' own server. Maestro Keegan went on to create a pretty big movie while at the time being an indirect member due to him still undergoing recovery from previous controversies at that time. It was a more vulgar modern-day remake of CaybyJ's GoAnimate: The Movie, called Wrapper: Offline: The Movie. It was so well received that they eventually decided to let him back onto the server as a direct member. Not too long after when things began to die down, he started to be the showrunner for The Drew Pickles Show, where it would now be produced and distributed by various fictional UFMG company stand-ins. After the first 3 episodes he decided to explain himself to parts of the Speakonia community, putting all the controversies surrounding him to rest and debunking the stuff that was false while owing up to the stuff that is true, though it wouldn't be until a couple weeks or so later that he would eventually be allowed to be on the Speakonia server. Not too long after, various other UFMG members decided to join the server as well, with RoboticBloxxer also joining the UFMG server himself.
Members responsible for The Drew Pickles Show
The UFMG has more than 50 members, both indirect and on-server. It is for this reason we are only mentioning the direct members involved with the show.
- Maestro Keegan
Keegan Salisbury, aka Keegan J.S. or Maestro Keegan is a content creator and jack-of-all-trades who is one of the admins for the UFMG. He is the current showrunner and producer of The Drew Pickles Show. He currently serves as the UFMG's stand-in for Universal Pictures, NBC, Comcast, Imagine Entertainment and Mohawk Productions, Inc. (Bruce Helford) respectively. (KR Films, SBC, Prevue, Salisbury Entertainment and Mullet Productions, Inc.)
- Duncan Burden
Duncan is the owner of the UFMG and has in the past expressed interest in expanding to the Speakonia community, having come up with the idea for a Barney Bunch movie during his ancient "Duncan/Baxter Entertainment Co." days. He currently serves as the UFMG's stand-in for Mirisch Company (Duncan Pictures) and United Artists (revival). He has also had a side-project associated with the UFMG called Best Brains, where Bitch Show Classic/Resurgence/Redux and Burden (a Seinfeld style sitcom that eventually got canned) usually get posted.
- Tom Cat
Also known as Jack Winter, Tom Cat (alongside his many Studio Ghibli/Itsy Bitsy Spider tuppers) is the UFMG's co-owner, serving as their stand-in for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (Winter-Devinny-Jones). One of his major contributions to the UFMG is a film series titled "Corbin", revolving around physical media community member Corbin Petty and his many staged humorous outbursts and his journey to fight the evil Gemini rewinder.
- Earthsam
Earthsam is one of the admins, and he was poised to be one of the showrunners for The Drew Pickles Show following the passing of Gary21115 before Maestro Keegan took on that position.
- Rebel Shadow
- YuviToons
- Garrehandro
- KAGEVISTA
- KBOS [Indirect]
- Jamesinator [Indirect]
Creator of Pancake’s Show, The Inner Machinations of My Mind, and 3DMM Chronicles.
