The '''Motion Picture Association of America''' (or MPAA, not to be confused with the actual MPA) is the name of a group and community owned by Gavinworld12 and operated by a collective of users, more than one of which were formerly members of [[Thirteeniverse]], who began making [[The Barney Bunch|Barney Bunch]] videos around 2021, alongside other miscellaneous videos. They are commonly associated with people in the corporate alternate universe, closing logo, and home media communities respectively, and they began to become active in the [[The Speakonia Community|Speakonia Community]] following when Figure X decided to continue The Drew Pickles Show, originally a Thirteeniverse project produced by the late Gary21115/*WaRnEr*. Various members of the WWFMU are also on the Speakonia server.

== History ==
The Motion Picture Association of America is a name revival of the union of the same name, originally starting out under the name Powerhouse of Entertainment (or POE for short) in late 2014 as a [[Google+]] group owned by Lamont Meeks (best known as "SLN! Media Group"). It went through various different names and incarnations on Google+, MeWe, and Discord in more recent times. After Lamont was ousted for pedophilia and other horrible crimes, he was later exiled from the community, and Duncan Burden took over as the owner. He started the previous recent incarnation (UFMG) in early-2021. For quite some time, it was consolidated onto Neon Krome's Discord server (then known as the "Hellhole") until August 2022 when a drama outbreak caused said server to close down, leading the UFMG to split off from said server and once again become its' own server.

Figure X went on to create a pretty big movie while at the time being an indirect member due to him still undergoing recovery from previous controversies at that time. It was a more vulgar modern-day remake of CaybyJ's ''GoAnimate: The Movie'', called ''Wrapper: Offline: The Movie''. It was so well received that they eventually decided to let him back onto the server as a direct member. Not too long after when things began to die down, he started to be the showrunner for The Drew Pickles Show, where it would now be produced and distributed by various fictional UFMG company stand-ins. After the first 3 episodes he decided to explain himself to parts of the Speakonia Community, putting all the controversies surrounding him to rest and debunking the stuff that was false while owing up to the stuff that is true, though it wouldn't be until a couple weeks or so later that he would eventually be allowed to be on the Speakonia server. Not too long after, various other UFMG members decided to join the server as well, with [[RoboticBloxxer]] also joining the UFMG server himself.

In May 2023, it was revealed that Duncan did a lot of bad things (including sexual harassment/grooming, disrespect of Gary21115's death, being a beggar, etc,). As a result, Tom Cat resigned as admin and took various parodies he established with him, and Duncan himself would be kicked from the Speakonia Discord server, with him deleting the UFMG (not before creating a server template, however, which Figure X ended up making good use out of), and any projects he was associated with were canceled/scrapped entirely, with Figure X taking his place as the head of the group, rebranding it into its previous name and iteration. However, due to loss of interest by many of the now-former members, Figure X had no choice but to step down as owner and close it down. Gavinworld12 would eventually helm the bigger EGs from this point forward. He then established BrainGames, which would later split into the branches of Multithink and MPAA. Both were established not long after the drama regarding Figure X and Gavin from when he sided with Marvelous Marvin began to die down.
