Editing Krypto Week

'''Krypto Week''' was an event hosted by [[IronYoshi1212 Productions|IronYoshi1212]]  in the [[The Speakonia Community|Speakonia Community]] that lasted from July 25 to July 31, in anticipation of the ''DC League of Super Pets'' movie, which would be released during that week.

== History ==
Months prior to the event on April 19, 2022, [[RoboticBloxxer]] had an idea in the Speakonia Community [[Discord]] server for an event where people make [[Krypto the Superdog]] videos in anticipation for the ''DC League of Super Pets'' movie. On May 10, 2022, IronYoshi would eventually plan an event called Krypto Week.

On July 23, 2022, two days before the event began, IronYoshi would announce the beginning of the event in a video, discussing the requirements for an entry, notably that Krypto the Superdog must be the main focus of the video (obviously), and everyone in the community was welcome to participate, with the exception being Digi Data, due to not taking the jokes of the [[The Barney Bunch|Barney Bunch]]. On July 25, the event would begin, with several users joining in making their entries on [[YouTube]] and [[Tracle]].  [[SavageBoy69|SavageBoy]] made 2 [[Blood-style videos|Blood-style]] entries in the event, RoboticBloxxer would upload “[https://tracle.tv/watch?v=3caAx9JFOuQ KRYPTO THE SUPERDOG IS A MASSIVE FAGGOT]” onto Tracle, mimicking the way [[BarneyBunchCompany]] makes his Blood-style videos. He was originally going to do a second entry, but it would not be made into the event due to him going on a visit to South Dakota. Community newcomer DuchessTheSponge uploaded “[https://tracle.tv/watch?v=Hx7S0CY3MW4 Krypto goes to the PAW Patrol headquarters]”, and finally IronYoshi himself made his own entry to the event he’s hosting “[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxC5ERUS-4w Pube Muppet Goes To See DC League of SuperPets]” the very day the film was released. The event would eventually come to an end on July 31, 2022.

== Legacy ==
Krypto Week proved to be a hit within the community, so much so that it would inspire a few members to try out events that centered around certain characters. First was Dr. Drew Pickles with Teletubbies Week, which was done to coincide with the release of the Netflix [[The Teletubbies|Teletubbies]] reboot, though this had little to no traction within the community, and it is unknown if there were any entries made for it. Then [[StraightFusion]] attempted something similar with Negavember, where it would be a whole month dedicated to [[The Nega Barney Bunch|Nega Barney Bunch]] content, though again, this had little to no traction and only two entries were made, including one by StraightFusion himself. Finally, Michael of Random announced an Android 21 Week in early 2023, with few of the participants being Keizer Jirachi and MasterDragonSamurai. Time will only tell if similar events will happen within the community.

Perhaps the big takeaway of the event was that it would bring Krypto back into the spotlight. Prior to the event, the character began being used less frequently and was soon forgotten about, but after his signature week, he quickly started making more appearances in videos, bringing him out of relative obscurity.
