Jared Fogle is a fallen personality who was a former Subway spokesperson who has been used in Barney Bunch videos, prominently used in videos by Speakonia Plus and occasionally featured in the UFMG/Figure X's version. He is one of the very few Barney Bunch members to be based on an actual person rather than a character.

History and Description

Jared Fogle was born on August 23, 1977, in Indianapolis, Indiana, raised in a Jewish family. During his childhood, he would eat lots of snacks while playing video games, which lead him to being obese. During his teen and young adult years, he weighed about 425 pounds. As a way to lose weight, he had to take a diet of Subway sandwiches and lots of exercise, eventually losing 245 pounds in just a year, with many news outlets covering the weight loss story in 1999. This eventually caught the attention of Subway, and he would be promoted as the Spokesperson for Subway and would star in commercials for Subway, eventually touring the country appearing at sporting events, fundraisers, school events, and even starring in some films and TV shows.

For many years, he would be a beloved spokesperson, but his career came crashing down when on July of 2015, he was arrested for underage sexual harassment on victims ranging from ages 6-16, as the police stormed his home and brought his electronic devices and searched for evidence of his crimes. On November 19, 2015, Fogle formally pleaded guilty for his crimes. He is incarcerated in the Federal Correctional Institution, Englewood (FCI Englewood) for 15 Years and 8 Months, with his earliest possible release date being March 24, 2029. In March 2016, he was beaten up by another inmate, which left him with a bleeding nose, swollen face, and scratches on his neck.

In October of 2015, months after he was imprisoned, community member Speakonia Plus uploaded "Jared Fogle from Subway joins The Barney Bunch", and given the "Five Dollar Footlong Penis" nickname, and he seemed to be a perfect addition for the Barney Bunch, as they, too, are sexual deviants. Considering the fact he is criminal in real life, it would seem making Barney Bunch videos of him would be the way the community can ridicule and mock him (Considering how horrific his crimes were). He would be prominently used in Speakonia Plus' videos, though not many people used him aside from Speakonia Plus and occasionally the UFMG/Figure X. This is what made him considered to be a forgotten member of the Barney Bunch, and he was one of the few forgotten Barney Bunch members that didn't make it into its House of Forgotten Members.

Unlike most Barney Bunch members, he was voiced by a non-Speakonia voice. Speakonia Plus's version used a voice from ReadSpeaker (formerly VoiceText, VoiceWare/VW, and/or NeoSpeech) called Paul. The UFMG/Figure X's version uses a voice from Nuance (formerly known as ScanSoft) called "Tom". Earlier videos from them/him used the newer version of the voice from ttsdemo.com but Figure X has stated he plans to use the ScanSoft version so that way he doesn't have to get out of Balabolka as often.
