Drew Pickles Talks 'Bout Closing Logos (series)

Drew Pickles Talks 'Bout Closing Logos is a series of videos that started back in 2010 and has had subsequent spinoffs produced by members of the Speakonia Community. In said videos, Drew Pickles look at various closing logos and gives his own commentary on them, as well as interesting facts and trivia surrounding said logos. The original videos became a huge hit within the community, leading to users like Skewt, Andrew Ambrose, and IronYoshi1212 making their own take on the videos.

Drew Pickles Talks 'Bout Closing Logos

First uploaded on August 15, 2010, Drew Pickles Talks 'Bout Closing Logos set the standard for the series early on. They were highly acclaimed the time for offering a unique take from traditional Speakonia videos and for being overall enjoyable. Each part of the video had a weird and distinct image of Drew in them, whereas videos by other users use screencaps from Rugrats. They also established key characters like Stu Pickles and Ronald McDonald popping up and joining Drew, as well as guest characters like Barney and Barry the Giraffe. Bumpers were also added in later on as a bit of variety. There were a total of 4 videos in this series, with all of them being reuploaded to YouTube in one form or another.

Drew Pickles talks 'bout a lot more closing and opening logos

In January 2016, Skewt uploaded his own take on the videos, with a second video following soon after. While the original videos were more jokey with some trivia placed in, Skewt's take on the videos were more factual, though there were still some jokes thrown in too. Logos from video game companies and publishers were also introduced. The videos were eventually taken down from YouTube following the termination of the Skewt is Back channel in March 2022, but they would be preserved on the Internet Archive, along with a majority of his other videos.

Drew Pickles Talks Once Again About Logos

On October 9, 2018, Andrew Ambrose created a video inspired by the original set of logo videos, with a sequel video uploaded the following year. These videos were noted for the vast library of Nickelodeon bumpers shown.

Drew Pickles Looks At Closing Logos And Then Some

In 2020, IronYoshi1212 uploaded his own take on the logos format with 3 videos. They were notably much longer than the others and combined jokes and trivia together. They remain as some of IronYoshi's most successful videos to date. Following the third entry, startup screens for video game consoles were introduced into the videos. A 4th entry was released in 2021 to commemorate the first anniversary of his first logo video.

Other Unofficial Entries

• SavageBoy uploaded "Drew Pickles Talks 'Bout Closing Logos For The Seventh Time In A Row" on July 17, 2016, following up on Skewt's videos. Originally believed to have been lost, it would resurface on VidLii years later. This entry drew complaints from some viewers due to the inclusion of a screamer.
• The Offender and RugratsTheLostTapes also made their own unofficial entries, but these remain lost along with their channels.
• Sonulianic would upload 2 videos in a similar style sometime in 2021. The first video mainly focused on logos from anime studios, while the other was extremely derivate of many of the older entries and even IronYoshi's, with some of the dialogue copied straight from the respected videos. The videos would be deleted following Sonulianic's ban from the community in late 2023.
