Drake is a muscular emperor penguin and is one of the best looking out of all the penguins, which he is completely aware of and thinks this gives him an excuse to do whatever he wants. His goal is that he wants Marina (the film's love interest) to be his wife, but only because she is the most beautiful female penguin in the rookery, unlike Hubie who genuinely loves her. Knowing that Marina was already interested in Hubie, who was planning to present her with a courtship pebble, he decided to get rid of Hubie once and for all.

In Michael of Random's videos (as well as Speakonia videos as a whole) however, Drake is instead an unhinged homosexual penguin who has a massive crush on Hubie and desires to make him his one and only so that they can have all the gay penguin orgies they can, and Rocko can also join in too. His unhinged personality supposedly equals or even rivals that of the Wiggles as mentioned by Tony Little, who is even hesitant of the thought of Michael of Random summoning him to deal with Disney Kaa. He for some reason is friends with Rasputin and Red who would rape his victims after Drake rapes them to death and their souls sent to Hell (most likely due to them being made by Don Bluth much like Drake).
