'''BarneyBunchCompany''' (also known as '''SRRSisGay''' and '''BarneyBunchStudios''') was a member of the [[The Speakonia Community|Speakonia Community]] from 2008 up until roughly 2020. He was mostly known throughout the late 2000s and early 2010s for uploading miscellaneous videos, but he disappeared for a while until 2016, where he returned to YouTube and in doing so, planted the seeds for one of the most active events in the community's history, the first [[Barney Bunch Renaissance]]. After the first Renaissance, his [[YouTube]] account would be terminated and he would set up shop on [[VidLii]], and bizarrely enough, porn sites like Xvideos and PornHub, posting more raunchy Barney Bunch content there. Nowadays he is mostly inactive, but he seems to check into VidLii and [[Discord]] every now and then.

== History ==
BarneyBunchCompany started out on YouTube on September 26, 2008, under the username SRRSisGay (SRRS is short for Sonic Rules Rest Suck, a rather infamous user at the time). Most of his content on this channel consisted of some partial [[Generic Gets Owned]]-style videos and some miscellaneous videos, some utilizing the [[The Wiggles|Wiggles]] and the [[The Teletubbies|Teletubbies]].

In 2010, he would finally create his eponymous BarneyBunchCompany account, and would use the SRRSisGay account as an archive channel. The final upload to that channel would be a video introducing now-forgotten [[The Barney Bunch (fictional)|Barney Bunch]] member Dr. Nerd. After that upload, BarneyBunchCompany focused more on his new account, producing several iconic videos. In 2013, he appeared to have gone on hiatus, but his return would bring forth one of the biggest events in the community's history.

In February 2016, BarneyBunchCompany returned from his 3 year hiatus with Drew Pickles Goes To Slutwalk, leading to the first Barney Bunch Renaissance. The result was a massive flood of both new content and new creators, rejuvenating the community into one of its most prosperous years since the early days on both [[Newgrounds]] and YouTube. It is also assumed around this time that BarneyBunchCompany decided to take the Barney Bunch to a place it had never been before: actual porn sites. While the details are not too well known, it has been stated that he joined both PornHub and Xvideos with the sole purpose of posting more outlandish and raunchy Barney Bunch content. Reactions from users on those sites are also unknown.

As the first Renaissance began to close, the community entered a 2 year dark period, where many of the members associated with the Renaissance had either retired or had their channels terminated. The latter happened to BarneyBunchCompany, who had his channel terminated in mid 2018 (though the SRRSIsGay account is still up to this day). In 2019, activity began to move from YouTube to VidLii, where the [[Second Barney Bunch Renaissance|Second Renaissance]] would take place. BarneyBunchCompany would join the community there in July, now going under the name BarneyBunchStudios, and would also join the Barney Bunch Discord server too. He, like many members at the time, would fully embrace the [[Blood-style videos|Blood-style]] and turn VidLii upside down. As 2020 rolled in, activity began to slow down, and it seemed like BarneyBunchCompany, along with many Second Renaissance users, would finally throw in the towel and retire from active video making. That said, his VidLii activity tends to fluctuate despite not uploading videos, and on August 22, 2022, he would join the Speakonia Community Discord server, and began to post content again on VidLii with a new Wiggles video. As of now, he is mostly inactive.
